Welcome to Bracken Ridge Little Athletics for the 2025–2026 season!
Whether you’re returning or joining for the first time, we’re excited to welcome your family to a new season of fun, fitness, and community.
Below you’ll find everything you need to know about registering your child, uniforms, fees, and what to expect throughout the season.
Bracken Ridge Little Athletics caters to children aged 3 to 17:
Tiny Tots: Must be turning 3 or 4 by 31 December 2025.
Little Athletes: Age groups from U6 to U17, based on your child’s age as of 31 December 2025.
Season begins: Friday, 5 September 2025
Start time: Athlete warm-up from 6:00pm
Program: Rotating schedule of track & field events each week
Tiny Tots & U6: Focused on skill development with age-appropriate activities
All registrations are completed online via the Little Athletics Queensland Portal.
Once registered, you will receive:
A confirmation email with Centre details
A Family Code for signing up to the parent roster
Access to SignUp.com to nominate roster duties each week
New athletes are required to provide proof of age (birth certificate, passport, etc.) at the time of registration.

* Family Levies are only paid once per family regardless of athletes age groupings. The Parent Roster Levy is refundable at the end of the season if your family completes at least 60% of rostered duties across the season (including before and after Christmas). This levy is forfeited if the roster commitment is not fulfilled, and athletes will not be eligible for an end-of-season trophy.
All athletes must wear the correct Bracken Ridge Centre uniform. Items can be purchased at the clubhouse.
Tops: Polo shirt, singlet or crop top in Centre colours
Bottoms: Shorts, bike pants, briefs or compression tights (must be predominantly black)
Footwear: Must be worn at all times. Spikes only permitted for U11–U17 in certain events.

Little Athletics relies on parent helpers to run events smoothly. Each Friday night requires around 80 volunteers. Roles include:
Age Marshals
Timekeepers & Place Judges
Field Event Assistants
No prior experience is required – training is provided. Parents must sign up weekly using their family code via SignUp.com.
To be eligible for end-of-season awards, athletes must:
Attend at least 60% of Centre meets (pre & post-Christmas)
Complete required parent roster duties
Trophies are awarded based on performance progression, effort, and sportsmanship – not just results.
